"Happiness Awaits You" - I'm not usually one for self-help books but this one has not only inspirational stories but worksheets called "Stepping Stones" to help you explore and appreciate the positives in life. "Wild Hope" by Ashleen O'Gaea, "Psychic Dreams" by Carol Costa, and "Scripting the Perfect Life" by D.H. Palmer I found especially uplifting without preaching platitudes. This is a great book to have for those times we all have when the grind begins to wear us down. Just skim down the Table of Contents and let your finger rest on what appeals; more often than not, it'll be just the thing to give you a lift to keep going.
Happiness Awaits You! is not just a book to be read -- it is an inspiring friend to uplift you any time you feel thrown off-balance or dragged down by other people's negativity. Each chapter and story reminds us how there are many perspectives on life, and we can choose to be happy no matter what's happening. I hope here will be sequels and more stories from more people as we all find out that Happiness Awaits You! and me and each one of us every day.

Although this may be the smallest coffee table book I've ever owned, it is by far the most used. I open it randomly several times a week, and it doesn't seem to matter which story I get.....it's always the 'right' one!

Excellent book with good stories that beautifully illustrate the spiritual concepts the authors discuss. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to see how letting love into your life can really open your eyes and change your thoughts.
Some interesting stories in the same vein as the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. The contributing writers provide personal accounts of experiences involving faith, adversity, hope and happiness. The stories with a mystical bent are the most compelling. Light and enjoyable.
