This is a very short book, based on a talk by Sister Nelson. The premise is to take a three day challenge, ask your self what would a holy woman do and then do it and document the experience. The book starts with a reflective chapter filled with questions. These alone could be used to ponder what it means to be holy. The middle section of the book was experiences of others, what did they learn and then the book provides a short conclusion and closes. Overall the book was quite good, the ideas have merit. The thoughts are sweet, but it is hard to see the challenge would be a total life changer. This would be a nice book to toss into a gift pack for someone you are visiting, it is a fairly quick read and the chapters are very short.Product details

I enjoyed the book, but all the women were mothers and grandmothers. I realize most women are these things, but being long divorced and having had no children, my struggles are very different. While I can always extrapolate and apply principles, I was hoping to see a chapter from a single or divorced woman. We often feel very alone in this world without close associations to provide validation and comfort when we fall or just have a bad day. Regardless, I am glad to have read the book and often find myself asking in the boardroom, "What would a Holy Woman do?"
I really appreciated the way that Sister Nelson presented her message. It was extremely clear and easy to understand. Not only that, her message is attainable and, from what I've found, it's attainable today.
I have found hope in this book!
I very short but life-changing book. If everyone, men and women, were to to ask themselves, "What would a holy person do," the world would be a better place.
I love this book. I loved reading about each experience and smiling because each one is so like my own experiences. I've never before pondered the question, "what would a holy woman do?" I'm so glad and grateful to be reminded that as a daughter of God, I have taken His name upon myself and made covenants that should influence everything, every decision, I make in my seemingly mundane every day life. What a blessing it is to know that I am able to become a more holy woman! It's something I now strive for daily, it influences almost every action, thought, decision. I'm SO glad I found this book )

This book explores a question we need to ask ourselves in many different situations. I enjoyed sharing some of these insights and discussing them with friends.
Loved this challenge to be a more faith filled woman (and men and children)as we seek Holiness Before the Lord. I am going to put the challenge on my Ward FB page and see if we can increase Christ like attributes among the sweet members of that family.
